The Glendronach. A Very Special Single Cask Bottling. Selected and exclusively bottled for whiskykanzler.de. Distilled on 31st January 2003, matured in a PX puncheon Cask No.3999, bottled in 2011. Bottle no. 607 of 702. 56,8%.

A fairly young sherry monster from the Glendronach distillery. This should be tasty, let's see.

Nose: A sherry bodega in a hot summer day. Mint, mint chocolate. Cloves, christmas cake, juicy sultanas. Very inviting indeed.

Palate: Very powerful PX-sherry which translates into sultanas, figs, cloves and fresh tobacco leaves. Hints of violets. Meaty and gamy. Fairly hot alcohol - adding a little water would do no harm here.

Finish: Again sultanas, maple syrup. Quite long.

As good as it gets at an age this young, a perfect winter warmer.

Un bastante joven monstruo de jerez de la destilería Glendronach. Debería saber muy rico, vamos a ver.

Nariz: Una bodega de jerez en un día caluroso de verano. Menta, chocolate de menta. Clavo, tarta de Navidad, pasas sultanas jugosas. Muy tentador.

Paladar: Muy fuerte PX jerez con pasas sultanas, higos, clavo y tabaco fresco. Unos toques de violetas. Jugoso y sabor a caza.
Alcohol bastante picante - añadirle un poco de agua no haría daño.

Final: Otra vez pasas sultanas, jarabe de acre. Bastante largo.

Lo mejor posible en esta edad joven, un calentador perfecto para el invierno.
