We are now talking about one of those Lowland distilleries that must nowadays be referred to in the past tense, luckily the whisky itself will not run out in the near future.  ;)

Color: Pale gold.

Nose: Chalky & waxy and sharp as a blade. The overall sensation is quite tropical; a box full of tropical fruits, coconut, ripe banana and some melon.

Palate: A lot of citrus, softened by coconut milk & vanilla. Wood spices thanks to the years in oak. There is also a quite funny and distinctive twist -  I sense some very familiar notes of Irish whiskey – you know those certain types of spices and esters that are typical for Irish whiskies. A whisper of an aged Bushmills maybe - a true Celtic connection.

Finish: Relatively long. Oak spices with notes from the Emerald Isle.

A classic sample of light and fruity Lowland whisky (with a twist), excellent stuff.

Ahora estamos hablando de una de las destilerías de Lowland a quien se tiene que hacer referencia en un tiempo pasado, pero afortunadamente el whisky mismo no va a acabar en el futuro cercano.  ;)

Color: Oro pálido.

Nariz: Calcárea & cerosa y muy ácida. La sensación en general es bastante tropical; una caja llena de frutas tropicales, coco, platano maduro y algo de sandía.

Paladar: Muchos sabores cítricos, suavizados por leche de coco y vainilla. Especias de madera gracias a los años en el roble. También hay un twist bastante divertido y distintivo - puedo sentir unas notas muy familiares de whiskey irlandés - sabes estos especias y ésters de cierto tipo que son típicos de los whiskies irlandeses. A lo mejor hay un toque de Bushmills añejado - una auténtica conección celta. 

Final: Bastante largo. Especias de roble con algunas notas de la verde Irlanda.

Un clásico whisky ligero y afrutado de Lowland (con un twist), un producto excelente.

Littlemill is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland (founded 1772) .Distillery was dismantled in 1996, the last remains of the distillery are destroyed by fire. Littlemill is classified as a Lowland distillery.

Nose: Black currant, tropical fruits a'la mangos, papayas, underripe banana.Toasted bread.Hints of rose pedals

Palate: Black currant, grapefruit.Ginger jam, light honey, sweet maltiness.

Finish: Citric and dry. Longish.

Black currant is quite dominant and distinct feature here ,which is definitely an asset.Quite easy going but very enjoyable malt. I absolutely adore these feminine summery Lowlanders.

Littlemill es e una de las destilerías más antiguas de Escocia (fundada 1772).La destilería fue desmontada en 1996, y los últimos restos de la destilería fueron destruidos en un incendio.Littlemill es clasificada como una destilería de Lowland (Tierras Bajas). 


Nariz: Grosella negra, frutas tropicales como mangos, papayas, plátano verde. Pan tostado.Unos toques de pétalos de rosa.

Paladar: Grosella negra, pomelo. Mermelada de jengibre, malta dulce.

Final: Cítrico y seco. Bastante largo.

Tiene la grosella negra como un elemento bastante dominante, que es definitivamente una ventaja.Bastante fácil pero una malta muy placentera. A mí me verdaderamente encantan estos Lowlanders femeninos y veraniegos.
